We think that chastening is simply applying "the board of education to the seat of learning".  But in the Bible, the word's meaning is broader, including "training, education, instruction, and nurture".  Chastening is never enjoyable, but there are reasons why our Heavenly Father chooses to chasten us for our good.  Tune in to discover the Father's heart for His children.
