Satan brought Jesus up the mountain in order to bring Him down.  God brought Jesus down from Heaven in order to raise Him up.  This is the pattern we see throughout Scripture.  On this Mount of Testing, we'll see this played out, and learn how God uses testing to raise us up in our faith.
